As usual, I haven't been able to update my blog. ~_~
After months of my Thailand experience, I finally had the time to share everything that happened to me when I was there.
Day 1:
It was only that morning when I had come to pack my things and went for the store to buy stuff needed by a traveler like me.
Well, it was my first time traveling only with my friends and without my parents so I was kind of paranoid-nervous and happy-excited at the same time. 9 in the evening was our boarding time so I sent a message early that morning to one of my colleagues who will be with me to watch the concert in Bangkok. We decided to ride the bus for the airport 5 in the afternoon since it was a 2 hour ride and we were unsure if there will be a traffic so we gave ourselves a grace period of 1 hour if anything happens along the way. I only brought 1 luggage for this trip and never thought that this will be a problem. I'm going to tell you why as we proceed with my story-telling...
Well, we got to the airport just in time, we just waited 2 hours or so before we board the plane so we strolled around to find food since we didn't have the chance to eat dinner. Little did we know that we should have had our things checked out along the immigration area and so we were the last ones to board the plane and that was so embarassing. Anyway, you can't blame starving people like us. We just ate bread and drank coffee since kopiroti is the only stall open 8 in the evening that day. I had come to sit beside a weird American. I was in the middle and my friend was in the window side. My other friend sits far away from us because she booked her flight way earlier than us.
Day 2:
We reached the superb Bangkok International Airport 2 in the morning. We need not worry at all since the hotel we come to negotiate our stay with do fetch their customers so we walked onto the exit and search for someone holding an IBIS Hotel plackard. I was really astonished of the fact that Thailand's airport is way much modern and hi-tech than ours. It was huge and the lights were all over the place. You can really see, even from afar that it is an airport. Anyhow, we took pictures along the way before we get our luggage. After that we went on to the immigration to get our passports stamped and then went for the exit to look for the guy with the IBIS plackard. It was kind of hard and it took us about 30 minutes or so to scan all the people outside since the airport was that huge and there were lots of hotel people awaiting their customers as well.
