Darn Anti-Government Protesters…

It has long been planned out; you know… having this vacation in Thailand. I even posted it here to my excitement and what happened??? Our flight was cancelled and why??? Anti-government protesters from Thailand shut-down their airport so that their Prime Minister who went for Peru to attend the APEC meeting would not be able to come back and be forced to step down his position which he did after a week. Huh? *deep sigh… Talk about misfortune. Anyhow, my college friend called me up and told me that the concert was rescheduled on February 7th anyway so we better have our flights rescheduled too which we did after talking almost every morning to CebuAir Customer Service during the Thailand mishap.


On the other hand, it would still be a great thing, if ever we were a week earlier in Thailand since I could have had a valid reason to extend my vacation and witness something cool too. LOL! My officemates were very encouraging. They told me I still have next year so I need not worry about it, such optimism. The only good thing I could think of regarding the situation is how I wish Filipinos can be like the Thailanders sometimes. How I wish that piles of people would gather up so that we can throw off the current megalomaniac president. I don’t want to talk politics right now but I just can’t help it.

Anyway, let’s end this crap. I just wish and I'm hopeful that we can make it by next year. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
